1970 saw the first StaySharp knife launched onto the Australian market. In 1972 the StaySharp removable sharpening cassette was developed for easy cleaning. StaySharp received the Prince Philip Award for Australian Design and was listed in the Australian Design Index. 1973 – New range of Wiltshire StaySharp was launched with a series of TV ads featuring well known fashion model and mum, Maggie Tabberer. Throughout the years the StaySharp knife has evolved with many new designs. The StaySharp concept was also successfully transferred to another kitchen essential – the scissor
